The Faculty of Information Studies at the University of Toronto invites
applications for two term appointments (non-renewable) at the rank of
Lecturer, beginning August 1, 2007 and ending July 31, 2009 in the area of
library and information science. 
  
We are particularly interested in individuals who can teach in one or more
of the following areas: (i) information seeking, (ii) information resources,
(iii) information services, (iv) information searching, (v) information
behavior, and/or (vi) information organization. It is expected that
successful applicants will also have some involvement in student advising
and provide service to the Faculty. 
  
The successful applicant will have a MLIS degree and experience in teaching
in the area of expertise.  A PhD in LIS (or closely related field) and/or
practical experiences are pluses. Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience.  Applications will be accepted until the
