[Asis-l] SIGIR'06 Registration "EARLY BIRD" closes TODAY -- Hurry!!!

Don't forget to register to attend SIGIR '06 -- and -- do not forget to
book your lodging.  The two hotels (Silver Cloud Inn and Watertown
Hotel)  will release our SIGIR room block on July 5 and after that  the
rates will increase significantly, and possibly the hotels will  be
full.  The deadline for UW dorm reservations is July 19, but best  to
take care of making  reservations now so you don't forget later.

Seventy four (18.5%) of the submitted papers were accepted. Geographic
areas represented are: 49 from the Americas, 11 from Europe and 14 from
Asia - Pacific. In addition to the full papers, 63 posters 11
demonstrations, 8 tutorials and 9 workshops were accepted for inclusion
in the technical program. A doctoral consortium with 9 PhD candidates is
also part of the technical program.
