To all women in computer science and IT

We cordially invite you to participate as an attendee at the second
Computing Women Congress (CWC) being held at the University of Waikato,
Hamilton, from 11-19th February 2006. We are offering 16 excellent
courses during the week and the opportunity to meet, discuss and debate
with other women in the your field. In addition, interesting keynotes by
IT business women and engineers complete the programme.

We are delighted to announce that this year's CWC will be generously
supported by Google Inc. which will help this year's congress be
a great experience for every attendee. If you haven't already booked
your place, it is not too late to join in - and why not bring along a
friend too?

Further, if you know of anyone who would be interested in participating
in CWC, please forward them this email. Even if you are not able to
attend, we would value your support in helping us raise awareness of the
CWC.

The Computing Women Congress is a conference for female students,
academic and professional staff who study or work in Information
Technology. Presentations and workshops will cover a wide range of
topics in computer science and IT, such as software development, machine
learning, human-computer interaction, and social issues.

CWC provides an arena to learn about and share the latest ideas of
computing related topics in a supportive environment. CWC provides an
open, explorative learning and teaching environment, with an emphasis on
hands-on experience. A lively social schedule will provide
opportunities to expand your network with other women in IT from around
New Zealand.

A list of presentations and workshops can be found on the website
(http://www.cwc.org.nz/courses.html); the registration form is available
online at http://www.cwc.org.nz/cwc-registration.pdf.

If you have any questions about the CWC, please let us know.

I hope to see you at the CWC in February 2006.
