CELEBRATE MICHIGAN WORLD USABILITY DAY-NOVEMBER 3, 2005
 
Michigan State University's Usability & Accessibility Center and the Michigan Usability Professionals' Association (MI-UPA) have organized World Usability Day for Michigan, one of many such events that will take place around the world. This is MSU's third annual usability & accessibility event.  
 
DATE: Thursday, November 3, 2005
TIME: 1:00 - 5:30pm
LOCATION: MSU Union Ballroom, MSU Campus (Abbott and Grand River), East Lansing, MI
RSVP: This is a free event, but seating is limited. RSVP and detailed program information is available at http://usability.msu.edu.

1. Dr. Carol Barnum, Real World Usability Success Story
2. Laura Vennie and Sara Ulius, Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer - The Design Process
3. Stephen Blosser, User Experiences with a "Talking" Washer/Dryer Product Prototype
4. Dr. Joseph Konstan, User Experiences and System Issues with Online Recommender Systems
 
MSU USABILITY & ACCESSIBILITY CENTER TOURS (Kellogg Center, East Lansing)
Informal tours of the recently opened Usability & Accessibility Center will be offered from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on the day of the event. Please e-mail uac at msu.edu to schedule tours on other days.
