The deadline for early bird registration for the VRD 2005 Conference is
next week -- October 22, 2005. This is a good opportunity to receive a
discounted rate for the 2-day conference on November 14-15. Further
reductions apply to students, conference assistants, OCLC, and RUSA

There are still available rooms at the Hyatt Regency San
Francisco Airport (site of the conference) at the reduced rate of $139
(plus tax) single/double occupancy. This special rate is available until

a room. If you are making your reservations by phone, be sure to mention
