Subject: [CNI-ANNOUNCE] Talks from May SURF-JISC-CNI Institutional
Repositories Conference

In May, CNI partnered with JISC in the UK and SURF in the Netherlands
to hold a two-day invitational meeting in Amsterdam that looked at
the state of deployment of institutional repositories across a number
of nations. Concurrent with this meeting, SURF also made the
announcement of the launch of its Cream of Science project (see
www.creamofscience.org). The overheads that accompanied talks given
at the meeting are now available at

http://www.surf.nl/en/bijeenkomsten/index6.php?oid=6

(There's nothing for my own talk because I didn't use overheads; I
hope to write up the talk in the near future.) You can find general
background on the meeting at:

http://www.surf.nl/en/bijeenkomsten/index2.php?oid=6

One of the major activities associated wtih the meeting was the
collection of national reports on the deployment of institutional
repositories. This data is currently being complied and should be
available by the end of the month. I will post an announcement to
CNI-announce when this information is online.

Director, CNI
