The Department of Library and Information Science, Rutgers University, 
is pleased to announce that, as of July 1, 2005, Professor Michael Lesk 
(lesk at acm.org) has assumed the Chairship of the Department. The former 
chair, Nicholas Belkin, will be on sabbatical until September 2006.
