The Universite de Sherbrooke and CoRIMedia are holding an International Workshop on Image, Video, and Audio Retrieval and Mining on October 25-26, 2004 at the Universite de Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada).  

This International Workshop is a forum for those involved in work related to accessing digital image, video, and audio information. It reflects the tremendous growth in the digital data available either locally or remotely through networks, and the consequent need to search this content and retrieve textual and non-textual information efficiently and effectively.
