American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T)
Announces Student Grant 

The ASIS&T Special Interest Group on Scientific and Technical Information Systems is offering a $1,000 grant to a library and information science student, with an interest or background in chemistry or chemical engineering, to defray the cost of attending the 2004 ASIS&T annual meeting.  This money has been made available through a grant from Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society.

Requirements:
1.	A demonstrated interest in chemistry and information science.
2.	A current graduate student. Full-time enrollment is not mandatory, but will be given preference.
