THIS MESSAGE IS BEING SENT TO MULTIPLE LISTS - I APOLOGIZE FOR THE
DUPLICATION
Dear ASIS-L Members,
I am working on a study with several researchers and practitioners about
genre types (aka document or content types), particularly as they relate to
the Web. Part of our study involves the collection and analysis of
controlled terms used to express genre for traditional paper or digital
materials. I would appreciate a copy of or a URL for any controlled
terminology your organization uses to express genre or document types. It
would also be helpful to have definitions, scope notes or usage guidelines,
if available, and to know the products and services for which the
terminology is used. We hope to present the results as part of a session on
Genres of Digital Documents at the Hawaii International Conference on System
Sciences in January 2005.
Please provide the information to gailhodge at aol.com by April 5.
Thank you in advance,
Gail Hodge
