[Asis-l] Position: Regional Branch Manager, Public Library, St. Charles County Missouri

The St. Charles City - County Library District has a full time Branch 
Manager position available in a regional branch library serving St. Charles 
County Missouri that has a specialization in local history. Branch 
circulation: 600,000+ annually, staff: 21.6 FTE, budget: $1.35m.

Responsible for the daily operations of the branch including staffing, 
customer service issues, branch programs, collection management, budget 
preparation, community liaison, and facility maintenance. Other duties may 
include public service in general reference or children's responding to 
customer inquiries in person, by telephone and by email using general 
reference collections and electronic resource products.

Work schedule will include days, evenings and weekends. Must have 5 years 
related experience, an accredited Masters in Library Science degree, and 
excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills. Prefer 
experience in public libraries and prior management or supervisory experience.

Internal transfers or promotions may open a position as a General Purpose 
Branch Manager.  Please indicate if you are interested in one or both

Excellent benefits and salary:

Regional Branch Manager $52,464 to $63,816 for MLS; and $59,004 to $71,784 
for second masters;

General Purpose Branch Manager $46,644 to $56,748 for MLS; and $52,464 to 
$63,816 for second masters.
