IEEE ANNOUNCES WEEK OF FREE ONLINE SEMINARS FOR RESEARCHERS IN FOUR KEY
TECHNOLOGIES

IEEE Technology Research Week Begins 3 May

During the week of 3 May 2004, the IEEE will offer a series of four free,
technology-specific online seminars to users of IEEE technical content,
including IEEE journals, magazines and conference proceedings. As part of
IEEE Technology Research Week, each session will focus on competitive
intelligence and the value of IEEE technical content in the creation of
intellectual property, including patents, for specific technologies within
the scope of electrical engineering and computer science.

These free online sessions are oriented to executives, engineers,
researchers and designers in these technologies. Sessions last one hour,
will be held at 1:00 PM EDT, and require access to a phone line and
high-speed Internet connection.

Sessions are scheduled for professionals in the following four
technologies:

      3 May Semiconductors
      4 May Biomedical
      5 May Aerospace and Defense
      6 May Telecommunications and Computing

Advance registration is required, and space is limited. To register, visit
