PLAGIARISM AND THE INTERNET
Presented by: Cynthia Jasper-Parisey, US/MS Library Director, Cincinnati

Fees: This workshop is FREE of charge to everyone!
Cheating, copying, and plagiarism are not new concepts and cannot be
"blamed" on the Internet. Web technology, however, has made cheating much
easier and educators have been searching for new ways to detect and control
these practices. Cynthia will discuss what is (and what is not) plagiarism,
plagiarism indicators or clues, how to confirm plagiarism using the Internet
and other tools, and ways to prevent plagiarism. This is a videoconference.
