Salzburg Research invites to the international Symposium within the
World's Cultural Heritage, Salzburg's Old City:
------ ARTS AND HUMANITIES IN THE DIGITAL SPACE ------
------------- Towards Web based Culture and Science -------------
---------------------- 6-7 October | Salzburg, Austria ----------------------
The symposium addresses the relationship between digital technology and
cultural and scientific heritage in the wake of the www-hype.
Topics include:
+ Latest results of European monitoring studies on digital technologies
relevant for the cultural and scientific heritage sector (EU DigiCULT-Study,
Electronic Publishing 2010);
+ opportunities and threats when unlocking the value of arts, culture
and science through digital technologies;
+ innovative strategies for successfully implementing multimedia
concepts in arts and culture for scientific and educational
organisations.
Dates: October 6 (7 - 10 p.m.) - 7 (9 a.m. - 5.30 p.m.)
Venue: Museum der Moderne Salzburg, Rupertinum
Costs: 50,00 EUR
