ERPANET is pleased to release the programme of its training seminar on
"Metadata in Digital Preservation", to be held in Marburg (Germany) on
September 3-5, 2003, and co-hosted by the 'Archivschule'. It will discuss
various perspectives on metadata to facilitate preservation, issues of
interoperability, the role of standards and schemas, as well as other
state-of-the-art developments. The expertise of the speakers, together with
the experiences and topics to be discussed, will offer seminar participants
insight and a framework for implementation of metadata in relation to
digital preservation.
