Having a hard time finding your way in the cataloging jungle? This workshop
is designed to give you those basic survival skills, such as the ability to
understand the organization of AACR2 and create a bibliographic description
for a book. Participants will complete hands-on exercises and should bring 2
books to catalog to the workshop. Catalogers wield unfathomable power-come
to this workshop and discover how to tap into yours! First time catalogers,
technical services staff who work with bibliographic information and public
service staff seeking to unravel the mysteries of cataloging will benefit
from this workshop.
