MANAGER OF LIBRARY SYSTEMS
New York, NY
Our client, a major international law firm, is looking for a Manager of
Library Systems for their office in downtown New York. This person will be
responsible for managing the integrated library system (Cuadra Star) used
for cataloging, serials control, invoice processing, circulation and online
catalog.
Responsibilities:
* Manage integrated library system (Cuadra Star) used for cataloging,
serials control, invoice processing, accessions, circulation and online
catalog.
* Daily and periodic maintenance tasks as well as troubleshooting
problems, developing new applications and some original cataloging.
Qualifications:
* MLS
* At least 3 years database management experience, specifically with
integrated library systems. Knowledge of Cuadra Star preferred, but not
required.
* Cataloging experience, including original cataloging.
* Strong communication skills, especially the ability to communicate
with Information Technology professionals, Cuadra technical support, end
users including attorneys and librarians.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
