Hi everyone,
This year I'm taking over as the new Chair of the Standards Committee.
Clearly it will be hard to follow in the footsteps of Mark Needleman,  but
those of you who know him know that after so many years as Chair he's earned
a break.   Mark does continue to serve on the Standards Committee.   

I'd appreciate your input as to what types of Standards issues you are
interested in hearing about,  whether through messages posted to this list
or by other means.
