This spring the Palmer School of Library and Information Science-
Manhattan location is offering:
LIS 901A- BUSINESS DATABASE SEARCHING
The course explores the design, structure, and online searching of
bibliographic databases in business settings. Emphasis in on the
construction of effective search strategies to meet a range of business
information needs.
Databases to be covered include:
Factiva; LexisNexis; Hoover's Online; Datastream; MarketResearch
Monitor; Business Abstracts; Thomson Research; Bloomberg; and many more!
This class is open to all students as well as the working professional
looking to update or hone their skills!
