InfoCurrent Library Services is currently seeking qualified candidates for
the position of IT Education Manager on behalf of our client.  The IT
Education Manager will be based in their Richmond, VA offices.

The IT Education Manager will be responsible for strategic leadership in the
IT University, with an emphasis on developing electronic content management
strategy and infrastructure for the IT University, Document Management
Services planning and execution for IT, oversight of ITU e-learning
consulting, policy and future development, as well as development and
testing of new value added learning methods for IT University. 

Responsibilities will include directing and overseeing the IT Library,
assuming and executing a long-term plan for IT Document Management,
designing and supporting the technical and service infrastructure for
document management.  Overseeing success metrics for e-learning initiatives
in the IT University and collaboration on the creation, maintenance and
delivery of custom and vendor-based e-learning solutions.  Candidate should
be a highly effective manager with proven experience in electronic
document/content management, instructional design, training evaluation and
usability principles.  Candidate should possess a broad understanding of
instructional, multimedia and web technologies.  This position requires
proven project management skills, a strong commitment to quality and a
willingness to work and lead in a matrixed team environment.
 
The ideal candidate will have::
*	 4-year degree in Education, Library and Information Science, Human
Resource Development, Information Systems, or related field
*	Experience with successful implementation of e-learning and
blended-learning solutions
*	Experience with information architecture, preferably in IT
taxonomies
*	Experience in designing and developing electronic document
management systems
*	Advanced Project Management experience
*	Demonstrated ability to apply analysis in order to synthesize
diverse views and needs into a coherent framework
*	Change Management experience
*	Understanding of Adult Learning Theory and instructional design
guidelines
*	Management experience
*	Operational support and customer service management experience
