Conference theme:
This year's conference theme underscores the

business meetings will be held along with a
discussion session with our keynote speaker.

Speaker:
Joseph Janes, founding director of the Internet
Public Library will be the keynote speaker.
Author of ten books including Introduction to
Reference Work in the 21st Century, Janes speaks
frequently at national and international venues on
the use of Internet technologies in
librarianship. Recently he was named the new
'Internet Librarian' columnist for American
Libraries. Currently he is an Assistant Professor
of Information Science at the University of
Washington and has held similar positions at North
Carolina, SUNY Albany, Michigan, and Syracuse,
