The Information School of the University of Washington is seeking
expressions of interest and applications from top candidates for its Ph.D.
in Information Science.  The Information School is a vibrant research
community comprising internationally recognized faculty with a broad range
of areas of interest and expertise.  Our program is characterized by
intellectual intensity and collaboration across a range of information
fields.  

The application deadline for Autumn 2003 admission (for U.S. citizens and
permanent residents) is January 15, 2003.   The attached document contains
