CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR ALISE AWARDS
Deadline: September 13, 2002

Do you know someone who should be honored for excellence in teaching or for
contribution to library and information science education? Or for service to
the Association for Library and Information Science Education?  To make
certain that deserving colleagues are considered, your help is needed in
submitting nominations for prestigious Association for Library and
Information Science Education (ALISE) Awards that are given each year to
honor those who have contributed in substantial ways to teaching, to LIS
education, or to service to ALISE. The awards are the
 
---ALISE Award for Teaching Excellence in the Field of Library and
Information Science Education

The criteria for each award and the information to be included in
nominations are at the web sites given.  The deadline for nominations is
September 13, 2002.  The nominations go to the following address:
