Below is some information about an upcoming ASIS&T/PVC program on PDAs
and libraries.  I hope to see some of you there!  (Sorry for the

American Society for Information Science and Technology, Potomac Valley
Chapter presents:

        Dinner Meeting: "PDAs and Their Applications, Wednesday June 19,
2002

        This will be a presentation by two speakers: Sam Taylor of Ovid
and
Brigit Sullivan of the National Institutes of Health. They will tell you
of
all of the wonderful, specialized applications available to you on your
PDA!
If you have a PDA, please feel free to bring it.

6:30    Happy Hour -- meet new and old ASIST friends (cash bar)
7:15    Dinner -- sampler of Middle Eastern appetizers (hummus, baba
gannaouj, tabouleh, falafel, kabobs, stuffed grape leaves, spinach pies,
rice, breads, salads). Select from a buffet -- lots of vegetarian and
non-vegetarian choices!
8:00    Program

Cost    $22.00 (ASIST members)
        $10.00 (ASIST student members)
        $25.00 (non-members)
        Includes meal, beverage, tax, and tip.
