Representatives from IEEE will be on hand in booth #1233 at the Special
Libraries Association (SLA) Conference in Los Angeles, CA, on 9 to 12 June,
to demonstrate IEEE online subscription products.
Also at the booth, the IEEE will hold several prototype sessions of its
forthcoming IEEE Biomedical Engineering Library, an online subscription
collection of 30,000 key scientific articles. IEEE encourages medical
librarians from academe and corporations to attend these sessions to
evaluate the prototype and to influence the development of this product. To
attend a prototype session, stop by booth #1233 on the following dates and
times:
- Sunday, 9 June between 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- Tuesday, 11 June between 10:00am to noon
Demonstration sessions will occur every 30 minutes between the times listed
above.
Contact Michael Spada at <MailTo:m.spada at ieee.org> to reserve a space in
one of the scheduled prototype sessions.
