[Asis-l] Position available: Academic Program Officer for the IAKM program

Applications are invited for the position of Academic Program Officer for 
the School of Library and Information Science. The Academic Program Officer 
reports to the Program Director of the MS Degree in Information 
Architecture and Knowledge Management (IAKM). This position provides 
administrative assistance to the Program Director; assists in the 
coordination and support of the IAKM degree and New Media Certificate 
(NMC); prepares and or develops program/course materials including PR 
materials; distributes materials; provides information regarding the IAKM 
degree and NMC to students and faculty; prepares and maintains program 
documentation and records; participates in meetings, conferences, or 
special activities; collaborates with schools, departments, colleges, 
faculty members etc. regarding the program; maintains IAKM and NMC website; 
maintains electronic mailing list for current and prospective students; 
performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in information related field required; 
Master's degree preferred; fluency with office software such as word 
processing and spreadsheet programs; excellent organizational skills; 
excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work 
effectively with people; detail oriented; comfortable working with 
deadlines; knowledge of HTML. This is a 12 month position available 
immediately with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Review of
